TILILA
Our pedagogy
An IB PYP primary program: student-centered pedagogy, inquiry-based learning, transdisciplinary work, and development of the Learner Profile — in English, French, and Arabic.
Our pedagogy
Our approach
At TILILA SCHOOL, pedagogy is student-centered. The student is not a receiver of knowledge — they are an inquirer, a thinker, a communicator. Each learning unit is guided by a Central Idea and Lines of Inquiry: the student investigates, analyzes, synthesizes, and builds their own connections across disciplines, in English, French, and Arabic.
Our approach is based on the five pillars of the IB PYP program: the Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning (ATL), Key Concepts, the transdisciplinary curriculum, and continuous assessment. We meet the requirements of the Moroccan Ministry of National Education — and we go beyond the curriculum to train curious, critical, and autonomous minds.

What we offer
Our programs
Primary Cycle
IB PYP program: All core subjects — mathematics, science, languages (English, French, Arabic), arts, and cultural activities — taught in the spirit of inquiry. Each student maintains an evolving portfolio documenting their progress and reflections.
Sport & Character
Interdisciplinary inquiry projects in the spirit of the IB PYP program — developing curiosity, creativity, and real-world problem-solving from an early age.
Innovation & Projects
Transdisciplinary projects guided by Central Ideas and IB Key Concepts — the student develops their sense of inquiry, analytical and synthetic skills, and learns to make connections between disciplines and the real world.
Health & Well-being
Medical monitoring by our referral physician, qualified support, nutritional advice, and emotional balance development throughout the primary cycle.

Learner Profile
What we cultivate
Within the IB PYP framework, TILILA SCHOOL is committed to developing ten essential life attributes in each student — the Learner Profile. This profile is the common thread throughout the entire schooling, from Grade 2 to Grade 6:
Inquirers
They develop their natural curiosity — they ask questions, search, experiment, and love learning.
Thinkers
They analyze, synthesize, and evaluate critically and creatively before acting or concluding.
Communicators
They express themselves clearly and confidently, orally and in writing, in English, French, and Arabic.
Principled
They act with intellectual honesty — they cite their sources, own their mistakes and successes.
Caring
They understand others, collaborate with empathy, and seek to contribute positively to their community.
Open-minded
They question their own certainties and discover other cultures with curiosity and respect.
Knowledgeable
They deepen their understanding of the world with rigor, through research and analysis of varied sources.
Balanced
They take care of their physical, mental, and emotional well-being — and respect that of others.
Risk-takers
They dare to take intellectual risks, defend their ideas, and engage in new challenges.
Reflective
They analyze their experiences, learn from their mistakes, and progress autonomously.
